 The two-story 19th century buildings in this image don’t exist anymore, as now there is a main street with busy traffic. In the 1940s, this new street was created as part of the city’s modern urbanization, cutting through and dividing the Old Town into the eastern and the western sides. The more attractive western side became in recent years a hub for dinning and night life, whereas the eastern side remains run down and almost forgotten.
